Our Shoppes

The Shoppes at Roper Mansion offer a unique shopping experience as well as the opportunity to tour the carefully restored Federal home.

The downstairs parlors feature formal European and American antiques, china, porcelain and silver.  The adjoining butler’s pantry showcases vintage jewelry, unusual antiques and advertising items while gourmet food items, gift cards and cookbooks are served in the kitchen.

The upstairs foyer displays Victorian furniture and accessories, and the two parlors lure shoppers with an eclectic mix of furniture, fabrics, glassware and collectibles.

The graceful ballroom is now an art gallery featuring original oils from the 19th to the 21st centuries, signed and dated prints, sculpture and folk art.

The charming summer kitchen and keeping room feature country antiques and primitives while the seasonal garden room, Thyme After Thyme, offers an array of garden delights and furnishings.  Outside the screen door, guests will find a peaceful retreat amid the flowers and herbs of the restored garden.
