Historic Dandridge, Tennessee

Dandridge provides a delightful mixture of old and new. Stop by the old Coach House, our Visitors Center where one can find information on Historic Dandridge and a copy of the walking tour guide. In addition to our historic district, we are steps from Douglas Lake. Douglas Lake is set at the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains. Formed from the French Broad River and its tributaries of the Nolichucky and Pigeon Rivers, its 30,400 acres of water surface and 555 miles of shoreline attract more than 1.7 million recreation visits a year.

Douglas Lake has a fish population very similar to that found in other East Tennessee Reservoirs -Black Bass, Sauger, Walleye, Crappie and the usual river run of rough fish species.

Our proximity to the Smoky Mountains, Gatlinburg, Tri-Cities, and Knoxville makes Dandridge a truly historic shopping destination – come for a day, a weekend or a lifetime – and find out what we have to offer!
